The Collective group of aboriginal windhound breeds of Russia, named below Collection, was established more than 20 years ago with the help of Biological Department of Moscow State University and the Severtsov Institute.

It is a non-profitable dogs kennel.

Collection is located on the closed for visitors and fenced territory of the Botanical garden of the Moscow State University.

The territory for the kennels and free runs is about 200 000 square metres.

For the moment (January 2003) Collection includes

•  40 windhounds at the age from 4 months up to 12 years.

• 9 of them belong to elite and first breeding class (according to Russian complex evaluation system used in hunters" associations)

• 14 are older then 9 years

• 6 are not available for breeding according to health or type

• 11 are younger then 1,5 year.
